Front Exterior
- Close garage doors
- Remove cars from driveway and front of house
- Clean up landscaping (mow, trim bushes, rake leaves)
- Remove visible water hoses
- Clean up dog waste
- Remove dog leashes
- Remove toys, dog toys, sports balls, basketball hoops, soccer goals, etc.
- Wash windows if dirty
- Put trash bins in garage
- Clear snow and ice from driveways, walks, and decks
Backyard
- Clean deck furniture
- Tidy u chairs and cushions
- Clean Pool
- Clean up dog waste
- Remove toys, dog toys, sports balls, basketball hoops, soccer goals, etc.
- Remove trash cans
All Interior
- Open all window shades
- Turn all lights on
- Remove shoes from entrance (place in closet)
Kitchen
- Clear countertops completely. No knife blocks, baking supplies, silverware, mail, etc.
- Clear the refrigerator of magnets, papers, photos, etc.
- Hide garbage cans in closet or pantry
- Remove dishes from sink, put in dishwasher
- Remove rags and sponges from sink
Dining Room
- Clear table dust table top
- Straighten all chairs
- Remove booster seats
Living/Family Room
- Remove stacks of magazines, books, papers, mail, etc.
- De-clutter fireplace mantle
- Arrange furniture pillows neatly
- Remove kid’s toys
Master Bedroom
- Make Bed
- Tuck in all sheets and comforters
- Clear nightstands of personal items
- Remove computer/phone charging cables
- Remove clutter from tops of dressers
- Clean under bed, remove items that may show up in photos
Child/Guest Bedroom
- Remove posters/stickers, etc. from walls
- Make bed
- Tuck in all sheets/comforters
- Clean under bed, remove items that may show up in photos
Bathrooms
- Clear all personal items from view
- Clear countertops completely (no soap, toothbrushes, etc.)
- Put toilet seats down
- Close cabinet doors
- Remove shampoo, soap, razors, etc. from showers and bathtubs
- Leave out neatly arranged, clean towels (optional)
- Empty visible waste baskets
- Remove towels from back of doors
Pets
- As much as we love our pets, there should be no evidence of them in our home
- Place food and water bowls out of view
- Place pet beds and/or toys out of view
- Remove pet hair from the furniture
